And so, a resident of Bangkok named Ovat, working as a taxi driver in Thailand, began to behave rather strangely with passengers.

He talked to the passengers and to himself in various incomprehensible languages, suddenly began to cry, then laugh, and declared that some kind of spirit had entered into him.

After several complaints from passengers against Mr. Ovat to the Surface Transportation Department, the driver was called to explain the reasons for his inappropriate behavior. It should be noted that the Land Transport Department issues licenses to taxi drivers.

In his explanation of the reasons for the strange behavior, the driver assured that his goal was not hooliganism or disturbing public order. The fact is that he was simply tired of Thai passengers who constantly pick their noses in his car. He himself considers this habit ugly, especially since at the end of the shift he had to clean up the results of zealous picking after these passengers.

Ovat added that he used to try to stop such passengers with a kind word and a request, but in response he faced aggression and even threats. That is why he began to pretend to be possessed. The spirit invented by him, and not he, warned passengers about the inadmissibility of picking their nose, thereby eliminating the threat of violence from the driver himself.

In addition, Ovat did not want to take money from the hands of such passengers and hung a special bag in the taxi to collect fares. This gave him the opportunity to deliver the day to the bank without touching them or to put on gloves later.

Despite the fact that Ovat apologized to everyone he could remember, the Land Transportation Department temporarily suspended his taxi driver's license. Before driving a taxi again, Ovat must undergo an additional medical and psychological examination by specialized specialists.
