How to get to Simeiz in Crimea

Hand on the Southern Coast of Crimea, in its very center, there is a surprisingly beautiful small resort village of Simeiz. The abundance of parks with evergreens makes this place a large garden, located between the majestic Crimean mountains and the unforgettable beaches of the Black Sea. What is the most convenient way to get to Simeiz and where can it be done.

1. Where is the best way to get to Simeiz

The resort village itself is surrounded on all sides by mountains that protect it from the wind. In the west of the village rises the famous Mount Koshka, on the north side there is a small mountain At-Bash, from the east you can see Mount Panea, and on the south side it is guarded Diva rock and the legendary cliff Swan Wing.

Finding out how best to get to Simeiz, you need to focus on one of these cities:

  1. Sevastopol.
  2. Yalta.
  3. Simferopol.

To get to Simeiz, you will have to make one or more transfers, with the exception of traveling with your own transport. There is simply no airfield or railway station in the village.

Direct bus routes from most go only to Yalta, which is 20 km away. from the village, although, of course, there are exceptions.

2. How to get to Simeiz from Sevastopol

People come to Sevastopol by train or by bus. From the bus station buses go to Yalta, passing by Simeiz. If there are passengers, they are brought directly to the Simeiz bus station. There are also direct flights Sevastopol-Simeiz, however, there are not very many of them.

If you arrived in the city by train, then at the exit of the station you can ask how to get to the bus station, everyone will show the way. It will be enough for 4-5 minutes, since it is located very close, so you should not take a taxi that will circle you around the city for 20 minutes, in which most roads have one-way traffic.

3. How to get to Simeiz from Yalta

Once at the Yalta bus station, located immediately at the entrance to the city, getting to the village we need will not be difficult at all. On the top of the platform, where buses from Simferopol stop, there is a whole line of suburban transport.

Route taxi No. 42 is considered the most convenient and fastest. It travels along the bypass route directly to Simeiz, and the journey takes 25-30 minutes.

You can also get to the village by other minibuses - 107 and 115. True, they travel along the lower road, calling into all the villages and stopping at every turn. This road takes an hour and is very tiring.

The fare from Yalta to the final destination is not the same in all minibuses. It starts from just 69 rudders. All suburban minibuses stop at the ring, at the entrance to Simeiz, there you have to go to the bus station 200 meters, no more.

4. How to get to Simeiz from Simferopol

People can fly to the capital of Crimea by plane or by train by purchasing a single ticket. This route is probably the most common, given the ability to quickly get to the Crimea itself.

To the left of the tower there are ticket offices where you can buy a ticket for a direct bus to Simeiz. True, such buses rarely run, and the travel time is about 3.5 hours.

It is much easier and faster to take a ticket for a municipal bus to Yalta, and then just change to minibus 42. Such a bus travels to Yalta for 1.5 hours, plus half an hour to the final destination at 42. The result is 2 hours.

If there is no desire to stand in line at the box office, then you can use the services of private traders. It is enough just to approach the minibus, the driver of which will walk around and shout: “To Simeiz”, “To Yalta”. Private minibuses go very quickly, though the cost of a ticket to Yalta is from 320 rubles. A ticket bought at the box office can be cheaper.

For many years, trolleybus No. 52 has been considered the most economical and environmentally friendly transport from the station to Yalta. It runs regularly, every 15-20 minutes. The journey takes 2 hours 30 minutes. And the price of such a trip is the cheapest - 175 rubles for August 2020. You can consider such a trip as an introductory tourist walk.

How to get to Simeiz from Simferopol airport

Previously, there were no buses from the airport to Simeiz. Therefore, I had to first get to the railway station of Simferopol. However, the route from Simferopol airport to the bus station - Simeiz is now working. In July 2021, the fare on the route starts from 300 rubles.
